I keep up on Omaha, Nebraska and National News through SpeakoutOmaha!

What is SpeakOutOmaha?

Some refer to SpeakOutOmaha as a 'Super' or 'Monster' Blog. True, SpeakOutOmaha does provide us with FREE News, FREE Want Ads, FREE Employment Listings and FREE Movie Listings but SpeakOutOmaha does not publish any of its own opinions like blogs do, SpeakOutOmaha expects us, its readers, to provide the opinions! So it really isn't a true blog -- its something more!

SpeakOutOmaha tells me that they only want to publish our ideas. They want you and me to speak out about what's going in our community, and there's a lot that can be improved. To this end, SpeakOutOmaha makes it easy for us to write about current events, respond to articles and topics and keep up on both local and national activities on the site.

Each day, the various News Feeds change and I usually spend about thirty minutes each morning browsing the various news feeds, the news links and other news sources - right from one web site, SpeakOutOmaha!. In addition to national news, we can link to local news sources and to other sites (either from this page -- or from the SpeakOutOmaha link's pages) to keep up on local events.

SpeakOutomaha not only wants us to exchange ideas and comments as well as responding to news and articles, but they want us to have fun too. If there's anything SpeakOutOmaha can do to make it easier to use, add another service or make it more enjoyable or entertaining, they encourage us to use the 'Contact' or 'Feed Back' links above and let them know.

Finally, you can construct a unique web page for your use right on your own pc. I did and I use it now as my Main Browser page - it's fabulous!
